چکیده
The bimetallic joining elements were designed for lap joints of thin metallic (Fe-Fe, Fe-Al) as well – nonmetallic (Fe-PMMA, Al-PMMA) sheets by Resistance Element Welding (REW). Cu tubes with an outer diameter 4 mm, wall thickness 0.5 and a length 11 mm filled solder Sn60Pb40 used the producing. required shape is obtained cold forming. Simulation ANSYS software was chosen optimization forming process geometry functional parts tool allowing to use only one extrusion operation. simulation results are stresses, strains, modification cross-section three proposed modes. compared macroanalysis elements.

متن کاملForming of Multi layer Sheet Metal by Drawing Process: an Analysis and FEM Simulation
In this paper, the drawing process of multi-layer sheet metal through wedge shaped die has been analyzed using stream function and upper bound method. Typically a sandwich sheet contains three layers of metal, where the outer layers are of the same thickness and material and different from those of the inner layer. In this study, a new deformation model has been introduced in which inlet and ou...
متن کاملInvestigation of Fracture Depth of Al/Cu Bimetallic Sheet in Single Point Incremental Forming Process
Single point incremental sheet forming (SPISF) has demonstrated significant potential to form complex sheet metal parts without using component-specific tools and is suitable for fabricating low-volume functional sheet metal parts economically. In the SPIF process, a ball nose tool moves along a predefined tool path to form the sheet. This work aims to optimize the formability and forming force...
متن کاملModeling the Formation of Transverse Weld during Billet-on-Billet Extrusion
A comprehensive mathematical model of the hot extrusion process for aluminum alloys has been developed and validated. The plasticity module was developed using a commercial finite element package, DEFORM-2D, a transient Lagrangian model which couples the thermal and deformation phenomena. Validation of the model against industrial data indicated that it gave excellent predictions of the pressur...
